This course allows you to focus your Italian language study in the first part of the day, leaving you plenty of free time for work, study, or simply to enjoy your vacation in Florence. It’s a general Italian course that will help you live and work in Italy, spend a vacation here, connect more easily with Italian culture, or deepen your knowledge of it. The course is suitable for students of all levels.
Enroll in the CourseThe course will help you improve all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You will focus on the practical aspects of the language that are useful in everyday life, developing spoken Italian skills and deepening your knowledge of Italian culture.
The Italian lessons combine communication and grammar in an ideal combination and, at all levels, you will always use the Italian language in class. If you are a beginner, you will start learning Italian from the basics and you will see progress already after the first weeks. If you already have knowledge of the language, the contents will be suited to the level of your course, from A1 to C2. To complete each level you will need on average 8 weeks, but you may need more time for the higher levels.
You’ll join a group of up to 10 people in a comfortable and relaxed environment. It’s very likely that some students in your class will be attending the intensive or super-intensive course, meaning they’ll stay at school longer and get more language practice. You’ll finish your lesson after the first morning break, and to keep up with the others, you may need to do a bit more work at home. This won’t be a problem, though, as the teacher structures each lesson according to the participants’ needs and will always make sure to send you the useful materials from the class. We’ll provide you with the textbook and all necessary materials. The teacher will use an iPad, and after each lesson, you’ll receive a PDF with the contents covered. At the end of the course, you’ll receive a certificate of attendance.
In the afternoon or during the weekend, if you wish, you can take part in our activities — three per week — organized and led by the school’s teachers. You’ll make new friends, get to know Florence and its surroundings better, explore various aspects of Italian culture, and have fun while practicing the language.
