This course allows you to focus on studying Italian during the first part of the day, leaving you free time to work, study or simply enjoy your holiday in Florence. It is a general Italian course that will help you live and work in Italy, spend a holiday here, connect more easily with Italian culture or deepen your knowledge of it. The course is suitable for students of all levels.
Enroll in the CourseThe course will help you improve your four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. You will focus on the practical aspects of the language that are useful in everyday life, developing your spoken Italian skills and deepening your knowledge of Italian culture.
Italian lessons combine communication and grammar in an ideal way, and at all levels, you will always use Italian in class. If you are a beginner, you will start learning Italian from the basics and see progress after just a few weeks. If you already have some knowledge of the language, the content will be adapted to your course level, from A1 to C2. It takes an average of 6 weeks to complete each level, but you may need more time for the higher levels.
You will join a group of up to 10 people in a comfortable and relaxed environment. It is very likely that some students in your class will attend the intensive or super-intensive course, which means they will stay at school longer and practise the language more. You will finish your class after the first break in the morning, and in order to keep up with the others, you may have to work a little harder at home. However, this will not be a problem, as the teacher structures each lesson according to the needs of the participants and will always make sure to send you useful materials from the class.
We’ll provide you with the textbook and all necessary materials. The teacher will use an iPad, and after each class, you will receive a PDF with the contents. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of attendance.
In the afternoon or during the weekend, if you wish, you can take part in our activities (three per week), organised and led by the school’s teaching staff. You will make new friends, get to know Florence and its surroundings better, explore different aspects of Italian culture and have fun while practising the language.
