Who is this course for?

Private Italian lessons are the ideal solution if you need a personalised study plan. You will receive a tailor-made course, adapted in both content and schedule. If your work, university or family commitments prevent you from attending a group course, private Italian lessons will give you the flexibility you need. We also recommend this option if you have very specific goals that might be difficult to achieve in a general group Italian course.

What are the contents and objectives of the course?

The private course allows you to focus on the skills you consider most useful, for working, traveling, communicating with Italians in formal and informal contexts, and deepening your knowledge of Italian culture in the aspects most relevant to you.

The content and objectives of the Italian lessons are tailored to your needs, and you can design the curriculum together with your teacher. Lessons are available for all levels, from beginner to advanced. You can deepen your knowledge of the language for work, university, living in Italy, or to learn more about Italian politics, literature, or art history.

How does the course work?

Classes are organised on the days and at the times you specify. You can purchase the number of classes you want, with the frequency and duration you prefer. If you are not a beginner, we will ask you to take a placement test, which will help us assess your initial level. In the first class, the teacher will analyse your needs and plan the course content according to your pace and interests.

We’ll provide you with the textbook and all necessary materials. The teacher will use an iPad, and after each class, you will receive a PDF with the contents. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of attendance.

In the afternoon or during the weekend, if you wish, you can take part in our activities (2 or 3 per week), organised and led by the school’s teaching staff. You will make new friends, get to know Florence and its surroundings better, explore different aspects of Italian culture and have fun while practising the language.
