italianme is located in Via de’ Tornabuoni, which, along with Via della Vigna Nuova, is considered the heart of the quality shopping in Florence. If you are interested, you will go shopping with our teachers, discovering one of the peculiar aspect of Italian culture.

Florence was the very first “capital of Italian fashion” and here world famous  fashion brands were born, such as Roberto Cavalli, Patrizia Pepe, Ermanno Scervino, Emilio Pucci and Gucci and Ferragamo, whose museums are in the city centre (Ferragamo Palace, one of the city most beautiful building, is right in front of italianme!). If you are a fashion victim, on January and June you can live two very special weeks in occasion of “Pitti Immagine Inverno” and “Pitti Immagine Estate”, where the most famous fashion brands present the new male collections.

Really close to the school you can find Istituto Marangoni and Polimoda, two world famous advanced training centres for fashion industry and design.

Walking to school you will pass the windows of Gucci, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada and Ferragamo, just to mention a few shops where you can do your shopping after a morning spent learning Italian language at italianme.

At Rinascente and Coin, famous Italian department stores, you can find trendy clothes at affordable prices. Also H&M, Zara and COS, have shops in the historic centre of Florence.

Many Florentines do their shopping at the local markets, where you can find new stuff, second hand objects and a lot of special deals.

italianme will also accompany you to famous locations in the surroundings  where Florentines usually go when they are looking for special deals or sales:

“I Gigli” is a shopping center a few kilometers far from Florence, with more than 100 shops, restaurants, fast foods and a multiplex cinema; in Barberino del Mugello and Reggello, an hour by bus away from Florence, there are two famous outlets, where Italian and international fashion brands offer special discounts on their collections.
