Description

Quali sono i contenuti e gli obiettivi del corso?

The Survival Kit course is designed to help those with little or no knowledge of Italian who need to learn the basics of the language to communicate in everyday situations: travel, transportation, restaurants, shopping, informal meetings, and the small necessities of everyday life in Italy. The course content is structured to enable you to: introduce yourself and greet others appropriately, ask and give personal information, order food and drinks, shop and ask for prices, use numbers, the time, and days of the week, get around the city (transportation, directions, reservations), and use useful expressions for emergency situations. By the end of the course, you will be able to interact with simple sentences, understand and make yourself understood in basic contexts, and handle common situations in Italy with greater confidence.

How does the course work?

The lessons are practical and communicative, featuring simulations of real-life situations, role-playing, listening, speaking exercises, and group activities. Grammar is reduced to the bare minimum, focusing on the essentials for immediate communication in Italian. You will be placed in a group of up to 10 people in a comfortable and relaxing environment. Lessons can take place partly in the classroom and partly outside of the classroom. The course consists of four afternoon lessons per week and lasts two weeks.
