This course allows you to improve your Italian and develop the skills you need to successfully pass university entrance exams and follow your academic courses more easily.
In the morning, you’ll attend the general group Italian course, and in the afternoon, you’ll have private Italian for University lessons, where you’ll focus on logical and reasoning skills useful for the entrance test and deepen your knowledge in the specific field of your chosen degree program.
The general Italian course in the morning will help you improve all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The Italian lessons combine communication and grammar in an ideal combination and, at all levels, you will always use the Italian language in class.
If you are a beginner, you will start learning Italian from the basics and you will see progress already after the first weeks. If you already have knowledge of the language, the contents will be suited to the level of your course, from A1 to C2. To complete each level you will need on average 6 or 8 weeks, but you may need more time for the higher levels.
The private Italian lessons for university will allow you to prepare for the university entrance test: general culture knowledge, logical and reasoning skills, deepening of knowledge in the specific field of the degree course.
For the general Italian course you will be in a group of up to 10 people in a comfortable and relaxing environment. We will provide you with the textbook and all useful materials. The teacher will use an iPad and after each lesson you will receive a PDF with the contents of the lesson itself. At the end of the course you will have a certificate of attendance.
For the private Italian lessons for university you will be followed by one of our qualified and experienced teachers, who will tailor a personalized path for you.
In the afternoon or during the weekend, if you wish, you will be able to participate in our activities, 3 per week, organized and led by the school’s teachers. You will make friends with other students, get to know Florence and its surroundings better, deepen various aspects of Italian culture, and enjoy yourself while practicing the Italian language.
