This course allows you to learn Italian in the evening, just twice a week. It’s the right choice for you if you live in Florence for an extended period and are busy during the day with work or study. We recommend it if learning Italian is important for you to communicate at work, at school, with your family, in everyday life, or to prepare for a future career in Italy. It’s a general Italian course that will help you handle the needs of daily life in Italy more easily.
Enroll in the CourseThe course will help you improve all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You will focus on the practical aspects of the language that are useful in everyday life, developing spoken Italian skills and deepening your knowledge of Italian culture.
The Italian lessons combine communication and grammar in an ideal combination and, at all levels, you will always use the Italian language in class. If you are a beginner, you will start learning Italian from the basics and you will see progress already after the first weeks. If you already have knowledge of the language, the contents will be suited to the level of your course, from A1 to C2. To complete each level you will need on average 16 weeks, but for the higher levels it may take longer.
You will be placed in a group of up to 10 people in a comfortable and relaxing environment.
We will provide you with the textbook and all useful materials. The teacher will use an iPad, and after each lesson you will receive a PDF with the contents of the lesson itself. At the end of the course you will have a certificate of attendance.
In the afternoon or during the weekend, if you wish, you will be able to take part in our activities, 3 per week, organized and led by the school’s teachers. You will make friends with other students, get to know Florence and its surroundings better, deepen various aspects of Italian culture, and enjoy yourself while practicing the Italian language.
