This course allows you to learn Italian while immersing yourself completely in the wonders of Tuscan and Italian food and wine. We recommend it if cooking and wine are your passion, or if you're simply curious to learn the language in a different way, preparing fresh pasta and tasting select wines. It is suitable for students who already have a basic knowledge of Italian, starting at level A2.
Enroll in the CourseThe course will enable you to progress in the study and knowledge of Italian, in the comprehension and production of the language, and to deepen your knowledge of Italian culture at the table.
You will focus on topics related to gastronomy and oenology and, through them, you will also work on grammatical and lexical structures. The linguistic content will be adapted to your level of language proficiency, from A2 to C2. Culinary experiences will allow you to discover both regional traditions and new trends in Tuscan and Italian gastronomy and oenology.
You will have some classes in the classroom and others in the city’s cooking schools, wine bars, bakeries and markets. You will be in a small group, with a maximum of 10 students, in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We’ll provide you with the textbook and all necessary materials. The teacher will use an iPad, and after each class, you will receive a PDF with the contents. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of attendance.
In the afternoon or during the weekend, if you wish, you can take part in our activities (three per week), organised and led by the school’s teaching staff. You will make new friends, delve deeper into various aspects of Italian culture, and have fun while practising your Italian.
