Who is this course for?

This course allows you to learn Italian while fully immersing yourself in the wonders of Tuscan and Italian cuisine and wine. We recommend it if cooking and wine are your passions or if you’re simply curious about learning the language in a different way — making fresh pasta and tasting fine wines. It is suitable for students who already have a basic knowledge of Italian, starting from level A2.

Description

What are the contents and objectives of the course?

The course will allow you to make progress in the study and knowledge of Italian, in the comprehension and production of the language, and to deepen your knowledge of Italian culture at the table.

You will focus on topics related to cuisine and oenology and, through these, you will also work on grammatical and lexical structures. The linguistic contents will be suited to your level of knowledge of the language, from A2 to C2. The culinary experiences will introduce you to both regional traditions and the new trends of Tuscan and Italian cuisine and oenology.

How does the course work?

You will have some lessons in the classroom and others in the city’s cooking schools, wine bars, pastry shops, and markets. You will be in a small group, maximum 10 students, in a comfortable and relaxing environment. We will provide you with the textbook and all useful materials. In class and outside, the teacher will use an iPad, and after each lesson you will receive a PDF with the contents of the lesson itself. At the end of the course you will have a certificate of attendance.

In the afternoon or during the weekend, if you wish, you will be able to participate in our activities, 3 per week, organized and led by the school’s teachers. You will make friends with other students, deepen various aspects of Italian culture, and enjoy yourself while practicing the Italian language.
